  I have seen a lot of these caught on shots... they are known as "rods". No one knows exactly what they are, but they are something that moves incredibly fast. Personally I think they are some kind of flying insect/bug.

  I saw one of those and others people have posted. It might be an internal reflection from the flash --- is it a strobe flash?
