    I reckon it's a young male, with just the start of a mane beginning to grow. Bit like an adolescent boy with just a trace of moustache starting to show. 😃

    It's true. Males look funny when their manes start coming in! This is a young male (probably 2.5- 3 years old?) who's just starting to get his mane.
