    I wonder if they're kestrels? In October, we saw a flock of 100s of kestrels in the Serengeti. They were flying around like swallows.

    That's nice! Their shape is more like passerines than raptors though, also the way they are flocking close to the ground. My best bet is rufous-tailed weavers, or possibly wattled starlings.
