Is that what I think it is?

I marked it as interacting.

So I was curious...I got this one earlier. Then saw another in the series, then searched out a series.
This image is at 1:08 "the contortion" and below are some others before and after. He was hanging out for a long time at that camera, and laying down at one point.
When I saw the one at 11:53 I had a lightbulb moment. Picture the hartebeest standing broadside to the camera. Then he brings his head down to one side low. That is what we are seeing. We can see the hump (between the front legs) and then one front leg going down to the ground. Then the neck curving up and over and down to the jaw and mouth. I took one this 1:08 and drew the diagram.
Here is the series: could probably find more in/around 1:08 too

See that hump thing in between the front legs? I think at 1:08 we are seeing the hartebeest bringing it's head all the way over to one side and low...and the leg is sticking out and down (as it should)Posted

a-ha! THis is at 12:36 and he's posing the way I'm describing, but at 1:08 we see it more broadside and closer to the camera:

Excellent bit of sleuthing there, ajg! 😃 I don't think I'd have been able to figure out that first photo without those others to compare with.

Same here dms --- which is why I found the rest of the sequence, and even then it didn't fit until a dozen more pictures in!
I'm hoping others may see the discovery part of the answers 😃 Many questions can be researched by looking at before/after images...some of the 'mystery animals' where we really can't tell b/c it's just too close or shady, etc....if later one can back-track and find the sequence you can usually find the answer.
I've also started to find interest in seeing the sequence of 1 camera from one day...in researching that wildebeest/hyena fight I saw a dozen different animals wander through that area of the course of 24 hours. Very rich with life!
