Is this a hartebeest which has been caught by a fire? There appears to be extensive singeing to its coat. Has anyone seen other photos of this creature?

The ground looks a little wet in this photo as well, so I think it may have just laid down in some mud. The pattern of the dark brown matches the pressure points where the side would have been on the ground.
