What is this black thing that shows up in one of the shots? A tail? And there is at least one animal by that tree...what do you guys think?

Yes, it's a tail on the resting wildebeest that is doing a decent impersonation of a rock right of center in the grass. I think another tail also pops into the frame on the right edge in frame 3 just below the tree. I see several wildebeest spread across the background just below the dark tree line at the base of the hills. A few towards the left are large enough to see the typical grazing wildebeest profile, so overall I would count 11+ wildebeest, standing, moving, resting, and eating in this shot.
