The great majority do get along together, which makes life much less stressful. All the animals in this picture are predominantly herbivores, so their food brings them together - yet differences in how they eat (and exactly what they eat) reduce competition between them, so there is no need for hostility. They all share some of the same enemies (eagles, leopards, pythons) so they may actually benefit from each others' vigilance - more ears and eyes are better able to detect hazards.
