What's going on here?

  Hard to tell what's happening to the middle animal- not unaware of some fun activities of which it may be participating, but it looks odd.

  Nothing really. The middle animal is actually 2 animals, one grazing with head down and tail whisking, another closer to camera standing and turning, as far as I can see.
