  Yes, this is blackened by fire. There are often images of fires burning and it is amazing to see how fast the animals will be back once it has burned out.

  Here's another of my random collections: CSGS0007ym. I collected this series from a single camera, from the first signs of smoke through the next few months as the grass came back. Page through it to see the variety of animals that visited this location, even when the ground was still blackened and charred.
