The count of three

  Finding three of our large SS animals in a single capture has been enough of a rarity on SS that I thought I'd share this one. I like the way the giraffe was a surprise reveal in frame #3.

  Somewhere in the blog archives is a post from (I think) Margaret Kosmala giving a breakdown of the numbers of species in the captures, and I seem to recall that captures with three different types of animals were pretty unusual. It was posted during Season 6, my first here. I remember it because I happened upon a three-species capture (zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and warthog) shortly after reading it and made a post about it. Misidentified the warthog as a young wildebeest, but still.
