I'm thinking #warthog. About level with the camera. That flap in front of eye.

I thought the eland would be too tall for the face to be right in front of the camera like that. How do you know that it is male?

Warthogs are usually peering up to get eye level with the camera, whereas the bigger animals can always lower their heads to camera level.

His heads lowered. Bulls have furry brown n black 'fringe' that goes part way down face, the cows don't. I'd guess hes old mature too.

I know what you mean. Some shots you scratch your head, trying to work out what bits on view, let alone what animal that bit might belong to.
