  No idea what part is closest to the camera, but it's apparently a zebra (see stripes in frame 2; also this shot, 8min earlier: ASG0012qux)

  it'd be great to have an option "utterly impossible to identify this'. Ditto for all the "camera laying on the ground" shots.

  All you need to do is guess. Zebra stripes in 1&2 are good enough for me. I agree the fuzzy thing is prob. its ear.
