  Yup. I saw another pic of this same guy (or his buddy), but couldn't see the wing patches... but that's got to be what it is.

  I just saw the other pic with the wings spread out. It might be the same bird. Maybe he caught something.

  Nowadays apparently called #black-winged-kite to distinguish it from the Australian BSK. I hate it when names change!

  I still call it a #Black-shouldered #Kite ( just seen that I somehow omitted name below- oops) and my books still refer to it as such.
