#hippopotamus
sweet little #dik-dik
#hippopatamus
#aardwolf I think
very nice, but it looks like the tommie isn't that impressed !
Definitely.. the next few image captures show her & a cub. Here's a better shot of this lioness : ASG000on4o
Nice.. I can't recall ever seeing more than one in an image capture.
It's not easy to ID a black triangle but given its height I classified it as #giraffe. Guess what's in the next capture 2 minutes later ?
#bat-eared-fox nice..
It's not easy to ID this #guinea-fowl but its colours give it away
Wow.. this #pangolin deserves the hashtag #awesome
This #serval is an avid bird-watcher. It can be seen looking up into the trees housing cameras in a number of image captures.
#jackal-black-backed
Looking through the preceding images we see that the silver line is evident for at least 15 minutes. This suggests it's a spider web.
It looks like a #zebra to me.
The next image ASG00106ud was taken just one minute later & features a #warthog
nice #impala
It's images like this that make me wish we had audio too !
"I'm sure my golf ball landed around here somewhere".
This looks similar to the flying insect in ASG000s9hi ,most likely a wasp.
Difficult to see & identify but I'd say this is a #hyena
#reptile I would never of spotted this small lizard if it wasn't moving.
#mongoose nice !
It's a #hartebeest We can see the rest of its body in the previous image ASG000scbs
I don't see many of these flying around in my garden !
female #lion chin
nice..
The paws owner : ASG000pu9w
Judging its size I'd say it's a #buffalo
This is a fairly common view of a #hartebeest. It shows us its head in image ASG000zipn & ASG000zipo
It's a #wildebeest enjoying a rest in the evening sunshine.
Most likely the belly of a #hartebeest
#springhare
#serval ?
Beautiful images of a #cheetah
Not one that I can see.. !
#aardwolf
Good guess but ASG000o06t shows us it's a #wildebeest
Nice images of a baby #thomsons-gazelle feeding from it's mother.
Mud on the camera box !
These images of a #secretary-bird are so nice..I almost missed the #giraffe in the background.
What's that zebra doing up there? It was only after I looked at the previous image ASG000pdb4 ,that I realised it's a #balloon !
That would be my guess !
It's a #warthog.. See Image ASG000o6n0 taken 3 minutes later.
Just try & make your best guess..in this case I'd say #wildebeest.
Awesome. There are at least 5 or 6 more #baboon in the tree..
This is the front end of a #wildebeest .See the previous image ASG000n2sn
#weird
Nice to see a Sounder (group) of #warthog
#wildcat would be my guess
Nice images of #elephant #interaction
#jackal
#cheetah
Nothing there..this obstruction features in many of this cameras images.
I almost missed the stationary #giraffe behind all the #elephant
Yep !
This large paw belongs to a #lion-female. ASG000on4p gives us a better view.
lol iesika.. it's the head of a #buffalo
This is the first time I've seen a flock of #bird flying over the Serengeti.
A female #ostrich displaying it's plumage, probably for the benefit of the male that appears with it in ASG000r1ob.
The tail of an #eland
A #hartebeest sniffs the camera box
Looks like a goat (with horns) to me. I guess you would need a spear to protect domesticated animals in the Serengeti.
How many #vervet-monkey ?
ASG000qgeu shows us it's a young #dik-dik
It does look like snow but actually it's just an effect of light & the camera.
How many #baboon ?
These #guinea-fowl aren't at all bothered by another #bird joining them
#lion-male lying in the grass
I would guess it's a #warthog
Looks like a #lioness is taking advantage of the shade here to have an afternoon siesta..
The previous image ASG000r7yo shows a scientist changing the SD card & holding up a card that records this event on the camera
A ghostly looking young #elephant
You gotta love a #warthog !
#spotted-hyena looks likely to me !
The dewlap of an #eland
This #thomsons-gazelle seems interested in the camera box
Many of the previous images show that it's a #spotted-hyena
Difficult at such close range to ID the spots on this #spotted-hyena
#lion-female
#lioness with radio collar
This #giraffe seems to have 4 or more #bird passengers
This is the black & white ear of a #zebra
#impala
It's a #hartebeest. There are numerous images like this one of it standing right in front of the camera.
I'd say 4 in the tree : 1 lower left , 1 upper right , 2 lower right , + 2 in the foreground = 6 #baboon in total
The black & white ear of a #zebra !
I've read that #warthog can reach speeds of 30 mph !
Yes #wildebeest
These nests belong to bright yellow #weaver-bird
Yes #lion. Image ASG000r7xq gives us a better view.
The images before & after this one show that #wildebeest are responsible for this #weird montage !
#warthog and #hartebeest
Nothing there that I can see
Yes,wildfires sparked by lightning are fairly common in the Serengeti.
I've developed a great fondness for #warthog. People say they're ugly. I think they're beautiful !
Yes,the horns harden as the animal grows.Otherwise, they would be brittle & snap off.
Very rare to see a #rhino , especially a whole one .Nice..
Another hard day in the Serengeti..
Frame 3 captures a #weaver-bird in flight
Probably one of the horns of a young tommy.
Wow congrats !
I believe this camera was intentionally placed to capture the #weaver-birds
#lioness
Baby #hartebeest suckling
two #lion cubs are partially hidden in the long grass
A committee of vultures..
It's hard to judge this animals size but I think this is an #ostrich
Wow..the fire looks wild !
Is it a lion ? Is it a hartebeest ? No,it's just another #wildebeest !
Sorry..I think it's just a bush.
I'm guessing it's a #baboon
Sadly it's just grass seed heads
#weird a cloud appears out of nowhere in frame 3 !
#cheetah watch.. I love the way that they each face a different direction.
#lion #interaction : the collared lioness cleaning her cub
One-horned #dik-dik
These #thomsons-gazelle are hard to identify when lying down hiding their familiar dark stripes.
lol !
#cheetah nice..
balloon-like #guinea-fowl
#warthog ear
Image ASG000owia shows this to be a leaf.
Don't use the search page.Write the image ID you want straight into the end of web address at the top of your browser page.
I'd say a young #thomsons-gazelle
A #zebra acting as a referee for this bout of #wilderbeest headbanging !
If a #bird is on the ground ( & not eating) I put standing. If it's off the ground (on a perch) I put resting. I hope this is right !
#bird x2 but not feeding. These birds use the giraffe as a perch to look for insects on the ground.
Bang !!..
#bird #vulture x2
Difficult ! It's actually an #impala .See its rump here: Image ASG000og50
Unlucky ! It's actually a #hartebeest. This is one of many images of it standing right in front of the camera.
impossible egg-shaped #aardvark
#aardvark : Image ASG000sipo

This #giraffe has an excellent dance routine !
Yes ok ,I've changed my opinion : two #mongoose
#baboon tail ! See previous image ASG000p9i4
This #baboon seems interested in the camera
I can see why you say zebra but the stripes are actually the ridges on the horns of a #Thomsons-gazelle. See it here : Image ASG000puv0
Awesome clouds above two #Thomsons-gazelle
It's almost as though this #hyena-spotted is posing for the camera.
This #hartebeest has its eyes closed .Asleep standing up !
Yes, a better view of the culprit(s) : Image ASG000qcm2
An overexposed #wildebeest
Given the distance,I can't tell if the #bird stood on the tree trunk is a #bustard or another species.
Image ASG000rtf1 shows mum & calf together
Sure is..,the black marks just above the heels say #impala
Definitely !
Yes,it is difficult..you kinda do see the dark line, particularly in frame 2 ,but it's overexposed & hidden behind whiskers.
Image ASG000ox7a - Image ASG000ox7d show it's a #cheetah
These young #warthog do have short tusks but they're difficult to see. If you save frame 1 & then zoom in you'll see them.
That's a #wildebeest in the background & another one that enters (partially) in frame 3
#lion-female in silhouette
It's a #zebra
#zebra are wonderfully social animals.
#hartebeest : mum & her calf
I classified ASG000qbcf showing a badly overexposed leg. This #elephant stood for well over an hour before rewarding us with this shot.
#lion Mum & her daughters, including the collared lioness, relax in the afternoon sun.
woah..looks like a war-zone !
The culprit is a #wildebeest !
#wildebeest !
ding ding..round one !!
I'd say two Tommies
Some kind of #bird, perhaps a vulture ?
two #lion relax in the evening sun
One of my absolute favourite Snapshot images..the contrast between cute cub & fearsome adult is amazing.
Yep.
There's always one that has to be different to all the others !
#buffalo for sure..interestingly, you can see lots of birds feasting on the insects in other captures !
They may both be a #bird. Actually, the images do change if you go back to ASG000tdua (something on centre rock) & forward to ASG000tduf.
This was a tough one but after I trawled through half a dozen previous frames this #topi revealed its distinctive two-toned legs.

Are these weaver birds ?
Black-backed #jackal

Yes,a beautiful #serval. Shame about the over-exposure.
Yes, a #lion was my first assumption but the colouring just seemed too 'ginger'.However, the cub in the previous image is simply gorgeous !
A #caracal tail ?
Knowing that the #bird visible against the skyline is not normally alone,I searched & found 2 more perched on the rock at centre.
#warthog
#warthog : taking the kids out for dinner !
Difficult to see at this range but I'd say #mongoose.
#hartebeest ?
#porcupine
This is one big #warthog
#reedbuck
Can anyone identify this #bird ?
I count 5 #elephant
#wildcat ?
#baboon
The #impala in the foreground is fairly easy to identify. Less obvious is the one in the background & the monkey sat in the tree.
A #hippopotamus is my best guess. The ear does seems too big but overexposure would explain this.
#warthog ?
Hey, wait for me !
a young #eland ?
#jackal ? Difficult with the over exposure.
#hyena-spotted. On your marks,get set, GO !
lol time for bed methinks !

This avian obviously has nothing but disdain for the young gazelle. What a bustard !
A #hyena (spotted)
This #bird appears to materialise out of nowhere in frame 2,& then disappear again in frame 3.
Any ideas ?
An #ostrich really is a ridiculously big bird !
At first I was tempted to say #zorilla but #aardwolf seems more likely.Shame 'cos I've never yet seen a #zorilla !
#Secretary bird
I think this is a #jackal and some sort of #bird. Any ideas ?
#lion a female with two cubs enjoy an afternoon snooze.
Frog or toad at bottom left? I classified it as a #reptile cos I didn't know what else to do ! Also, what are the lights? I count nine.

I hope for this #zebra that the pair of eyes watching it belong to another herbivore !
#lion ,A Prince of The Serengeti on the prowl after dark

The #impala in the foreground is fairly easy to identify. Less obvious is the one in the background & the monkey sat in the tree.
A #hippopotamus is my best guess. The ear does seems too big but overexposure would explain this.
#warthog ?
Hey, wait for me !

#jackal ? Difficult with the over exposure.

This avian obviously has nothing but disdain for the young gazelle. What a bustard !
A #hyena (spotted)
This #bird appears to materialise out of nowhere in frame 2,& then disappear again in frame 3.

An #ostrich really is a ridiculously big bird !
At first I was tempted to say #zorilla but #aardwolf seems more likely.Shame 'cos I've never yet seen a #zorilla !
