Snapshot Serengeti Talk
Some things are universal... like the value of shade on a hot day.
Zebra seems most likely, but I wondered if it could also be a close-up of the side stripe of a Thompson's gazelle
A nice shot to kind of show, how the stripes would blur together (in a larger group.)
Secretary bird collecting grass for nest!
-Pic of perfectly framed buffalo-
Cute baby 😃
Nice Grants Gazelle
Thompson's Gazelle -Listening...
a very close-up stripe of... something!
Somewhat eerie looking pic... with haze of either fog or smoke
Shot 3 is really cool..
There's a herd of something in the distance... but species is hard to make out...
From the look of that sky, it looks like a storm's coming....
Hartebeest, I think...
Something's definitely got his attention....
Nice giraffe pic...
Resting one has very wide black dorsal stripe, going into tail... Don't think I've seen one like this before.
Nice, plump zebra
-Ouch! Nasty looking thorns!
Maybe not a very scientific comment, but.... -cute face!
...it's hard to make out, but is that a baby perhaps clinging to its chest?
Quite a fire...
#Dik Dik
Neat too, because when you hit play, you can see the nose scenting the wind, and the ears twitching with interest in that direction.
Cool picture of gazelle watching moving herd of elephants
Zebra pic w/young too. 😃
Really nice Wildebeest pic
Male reedbuck
Nice clouds....
My first Hippo ever!
Cool pic! 😃
Nice warthog pic.
Thompson's Gazelle, classic African trees, and Eland?, in foreground. (-from the neck dewlap)
Morning light...
#Hartebeest
I know this is for animals, but I had to say- what a picturesque African tree, especially with the light behind it.
On the right, my first baby elephant! 😃
I was also thinking vulture and just logged in to post that myself
#zebra (obviously) but, pregnant..?
"When I was a young #warthog...!"
nice buffalo pic
#lion female #collar
gazelle playing peek-a-boo w/the camera...
Ive seen horses roll like that, usually when they feel spunky good or itchy! After they stand up and shake the giant dustcloud is hilarious!
zebras in the rain...
Reedbucks, I think...
slightly puzzling creature...
Very wrinkled face, around eye...
I think they're elands... I found a couple pics on google that looked like the backs of the front knees are dark...
Hmmn... not sure what this one is...
It seems like it's smelling something in the air...
Spots spotted... but is it cheetah, serval... etc.? -I guessed cheetah anyhow. Animal is also missing some fur on the shoulder there too...
Lovely pair of gazelles...
"Chee-eese!" (lol, he almost looks like he's posing for the camera..)
Some babies in there too, it looks like...
#grant's gazelle
Wow, some long horns there...
Not positive on ID of this one...
#Kori bustard
...?? warthogs...?
and making little Hartebeests..
Grants gazelle...
Such a nice close-up!
Ideal pic, adult Thompsons gazelle, with full horns.
#hare (Be ver-wy quiet... and he's to the right of the tree flicking his ears...)
#fire
Heading down to the local watering-hole...
When I found it, I thought it was a Kori bustard... Cool pic anyway. 😃
Running zebra...
Swatting flies....
Aw, cute baby! 😃
The dancing gazelle! (lol)
Just rooting around!
Lazy lion!
.....Ah, the rare Tan-jeepius Africalis...! (lol)
And it's time to play, Name that Tail...! (lol) It IS an interesting tail though...
Hartebeest going to the water hole...
Really nice shot of one in front's face. 😃
"Munch, munch...!"
Zebra w/a itchy butt! -lol
I know it's RLLY hard to see (esp. in the smaller picture) but in the pic's right half , silhouetted against the horizon sky, is one walking
My first monkey! -I believe it's a vervet monkey, he's moving pretty quickly too. Super long tail!
My first lion! And it's in close up! -Nice surprise to find. 😃
