Snapshot Serengeti Talk
Could be a cheetah, but hair texture suggests hyena.
Seems cat like. Hard to match
Like a kori bustard, but with a dark front.
More antelope calisthenics
There needs to be a classification for 'antelope bum'
Two things moving v. fast
A zebra doing calisthenics??
Looks like the twin of the ear in the last photo (I said 'Duiker' there, too)
Actually quite hard to work out what this is. I think we're seeing the bottom of the neck !?!? with hint of mane
Something in the distance. Too far away to identify
Colouring suggests #lion, but it's surprisingly hard to tell for sure.
Cerval or cheetah? I say #cheetah from the ears
Hartebeest, or lion? (hard to tell from tum alone)
Male and feamle. Half grown. Female has a tracking collar
'Hyenas' are an impression only (something there, but what?)
Like water dippers!
Too far for positive ID
Too far off to be positive. Gait suggests dog, or baboon carrying young. Something on the left may be another one, or t may be a grass head
Antelope, but species unclear (no bands suggests reedbuck or dik-dik)
Los tres amigos, and warthog!
Ostrich, or two legged wildebeest?? (distant)
Baby elephant suckling!
A silk purse?
A lot of glowing eyes
Rodent of some sort
Bird is looking for ticks
A vulture or raptor of some sort
Rather hard to tell through the leaves. Definitely something breathing.
Long way off. Looks like someone's being chased?
Two hyenas (or civets?) doin' what comes naturally.
A couple of vultures appear to have found something.
I assume that's one covering the lens? (how like a cat!)
Is the elephant on the ground alive?
I don't actually know what this is resting under the bush! Lion is closest in colour, but I'm far from sure.
Possibly a lion nuzzling the camera (I see whiskers!)
Small deer or jackal?
Democracy: wherein a well-armed wildebeest discusses the dinner vote with two hyenas
Something in the tree!
Someone's back.
Very abstract! An elephant's hide or a perambulating ant hill.
I diagnose an inquisitive trunk
Looks like Carucal stalking bird. Too close to camera to be certain.
Something close to camera. Details drowned in flash.
2 #unknown
There could be a face centre right? Or, it could just a couple of seed heads catching the flash #unknown
#unknown #closeup
#unknown
Looks like may be a snake in the grass
#unknown #closeup Wildebeest? Lion?
We need to have an animal called 'unknown' #unknown
I diagnose a man (mid distance) and his dog (close up) but I'm really not sure what this is!
#closeup seen this pattern before... not a striped hyena!
#closeup whoever it is is checking the camera out
#dark The form looks elephantine
#closeup tail is the only clue
#closeup of an ear
A #closeup. Brownish spots are the only real clue
#testicles
Haunch seems dog-like, but could be a hyena, baboon, or... warthog? Testicles are no doubt definitive, but I'm no expert!
