Snapshot Serengeti Talk
Hippo bum!!
perfect for the fav photos contest- what a beauty
Wow, this is beautiful!
looks a little warthogish
hyena looking fur
hartebeest, I think.
I think hyena too because of shape of ear
I think you are right since another hartebeest in background and yellowy tan colour under legs, also tail right colour
totally a waterbuck
spectacular to see a group this big-
Could it be an eland? Look at the horns.
Can anyone help identify these two? They look mole like.
So beautiful- at least two babies under there
I think they are rhinos, too round and plump for warthogs
exactly what I see- I guessed jackal as well - cool
Vulture?
Great shot
A pleasure to see a leopard!
Any idea what kind of bird? Vulture maybe?
Now he's whacking that camera!
Baby elephant!
Spotted hyena was my guess as well.
See and I guessed cheetah because the spots are more uniformed!
young hartebeest?
nice serval!
Is there something wrong with this zebra's front leg? Look at the way the other zebra is looking at him.
could it be a civet in front?
I thought giraffe at first also but couldn't make out what part
Can someone weigh in on this? I saw this one as well a while back and was also wondering if the baby was dead-strange not to see others around it
this animal is bone thin, could it be a sick or injured lion? Tail looks like a lion's.
pregnant wildebeest?
now that's a lovely baby
this is interesting, any idea what birds these are?
Serval?
beauty
looks elephanty to me
serval cat?
any idea what these impalas are up to?
young wildebeest
another one of these beautiful lion shots
Look closely at the first pic: Baby tommy nursing
I think it is a female, not enough mane for a male- lovely shot
elephant legs?
I guessed lion colors but I could be wrong
I'm guessing a baboon because of the tail
This is about as precious as it can get. Sublime!
My first aardwolf in hundreds of photos!
I think a dead hare as well
Lion?
Is there an animal in the foreground here or is that just grass moving?
Are there 2 here or 1?
Some of these images are just awe-inspiring!
Any idea what kind of bird this is?
Beautiful!
Definitely a lion, but something on the ground lower left, and tail around two front legs. Another lion?
A wee baby buffalo?
I think he's butting the camera!
I see a hyena in the background but what is the animal in the front? I see an eye, can't make out the rest.
