I know it's not an elephant. My comment is a question. Why was I not given his picture to evaluate, rather than the cropped version?

Zebra stripes seem to be the same size regardless of the size/age of the animal. I guess this means that the stripes change with age?

I was so busy looking at the Wildebeest's arse, I missed what could well be 5 or 6 topi in the background. 😦
Are there other examples of this? Those look exactly like torch beams to me.

I'm intrigued how often I see one or two zebra with large numbers of wildebeest. Comensalism? Adoption? Identity issues?
People on foot with torches. This doesn't look good. 😦
I have a feeling those aren't Topi. They seem a little too grey. My guess was female Eland., possible male at the front of the line (left).

I think it's a spotted hyena. The movement is making the spots look like horizontal stripes.

Group on the close horizon. Could be anything.

Clearer picture than first! Obvious wildebeest facing into the picture from the bottom left, but head of another in bottom left foreground?
