Snapshot Serengeti Talk
Lots of eyes.
I put no animal present, but those lumps in the middle baffle me.
It's a gazelle get-together!
Lots, and lots, and lots of empty shots this season.
There are three of something or things in this one, but a horn, a butt and as tail make them tough to identify.
Truck? Didn't even occur to me.
wow
I clicked nothing, but there's a buffalo there.
One filthy zebra...
I feel silly saying "Nothing there" when i know the grass teems with all kinds of life--insects, rodents, reptiles, worms...
I don't think tail feathers have whiskers, so folks, for $5, Name That Nose!
Pretty bad when I'm not sure if it's guinea fowl or resting wildebeests...
I think this the first photo of resting wildebeest where there is no wildebeest standing guard duty.
Does a braying zebra sound like a braying donkey? We have picture, but no sound. Shucks.
I said bird, but it might be a large, near-to-the-camera insect.
I said hyena, but vertical brown stripes don't fit. Unknown....
Whaaaat?
Play it. I don't see fire, but maybe... Dust devil? Not a whole lot of movement in the surrounding trees.
It just occurred to me to wonder if wildebeest are edible. Like beef? Bison? Venison?
I'm afraid to ask....
What is it?
Play it. Ear in the lower right corner?
I said 9 moving wildebeest, but they could be buffalo and more than 9.
Unknown
Foreboding skies
Dik diks?
Stork?
I have no idea.... I guessed warthogs, but they're reddish brown.
No clue
Pregnant?
I think it's a hippo, too.
Aardwolf?
Dunno.
Something is kicking up a mess, but can't see it.
Contortionist.
FIRE!!!!!
Hard getting a count on this one...
This would be the view if you were riding a hartebeest, n'est-ce pas?
I think I had a shot of this guy, too. No visible legs. Not a gecko. I saved my photos. Small snake, maybe.
I think it's a zebra's butt and the moon shining thru clouds.
Contrail.
No clue.
Hmm....
Birds, I guess. The gazelle is puzzled, too.
Unusual....
Lion's nose?
Bird. Oh, and a couple of wildebeests.
I called it a reedbuck, but I don't even know for sure if that's a face in the weeds on the lower left side.
Biggish bird
Wow. Seven birds. The most I've seen in flight after many, many, many shots examined
Don't be afraid to march to a different drummer.
What a ham!
Wanna dance? OK, but I get to lead!
Two creatures in this 3 shot spread. Can't distinguish either.
Something in the grass down front?
Lion in lower left corner? Hips don't seem angular enough for a gazelle of some kind... No clue.
Keep expecting to see a pride of lions lounging here....
Ever get going so fast you click the wrong button & get Next capture with no recourse before you realize you're looking at a leopard's butt?
Clear to land on runway two-niner. Flaps down!
Is that rain? Dust?
Hare?
