Snapshot Serengeti Talk
I would guess wildebeest
love the calf
Are these vervet monkeys?
Nice! One more thing to add to my bucket list.
Oh how cute!!
I had the same before, and close up it looked like a muzzle, so I guessed giraffe
haha, this safari car just drove straight past a group of zebras.
Their number and ordered way of walking makes me think zebras. Zebras seem impressively well synced.
That looks like a leopard! The white under tail contrasts with cheetah that usually have black rings. 1000 flies indicates it's eating!
#elephant #young What a treat to get!
"snap" KayD (xing posts)
...and that blonde creature on the left looks like a lion!
#zebra #young the foal in the center looks only days old to me.
From what I read Serengeti has several eagles but neither hawks nor falcons.
Thanks, my eyes went slightly cooky trying to count the legs - something about those stripes! Guess that's what they're there for. 😃
Zebra love... Happy belated Valentines Day.
...sometimes it's difficult to count the animals
#elephant with young
Zebras horsing around
only see snout so guessing
dwarf mongoose? or rodent?
doesn't quite look a wildebeest
no idea if it is a wildebeest. See two figures moving
don't know if it is a hyena, but see stripes, sloping back
No idea what this is
Looks too bulky to be a dik dik, and too grey to be a gazelle.
tufted tail is all I see
Struggling with identifying this behind
ear and tusk left edge
no idea what it is but it is small and spotted
guessing it's either two buffaloes, one of them young - or the buffalo is staring down a predator
Not sure this is wildebeest
forgot to add the one zebra standing
Looks like horses
Doesn't quite look like a fox, because the tail doesn't have any black
Looks like it could be a Kori chick
looks like another intimate moment
don't think it's a hyena, but goodness knows what it is
no idea what the fur ball in front is
too close to call
deer like creature, but which one?
Not sure if baboon - could also be cat family
3 more in background, and middle seems young
no idea what animal
too muddy to make a good call on spotted vs striped
only a tail, but guessing baboon
Hi, think I need to change classification on this one. Put it down as a Genet, but now realise it's probably a serval?
What the heck is this? Looks like Bart's "Santa's Helper"
either an elephant or a tree 😃
Is this a young impala? Kudos to your descriptions - would not have guessed impala, but when you said "black spots over heels" I knew it was
Guessing hyena as it seems more tufted. sure looks like it's eating something
only a tail. Elephant?
Are they young baboons?
… one of them is keeping his eye on the camera - LOL
lower left corner - honey-badger seemed closest, but I got no idea what it really is.
Looks like a hartebeest (which I until today had never heard of before and now can spot), but has no horns - a young one?
OK, not sure on species but sure on gender.
Giraff eyeing the camera
Interesting green and orange bird
6 lions in one picture!
a bauble hat?
certainly looks like a civet
best guess is an elephant
lioness playing with her young cub
really sweet zebra "family portrait", with the foal in the front
Was this done on purpose?!
Think he spotted the camera
fire at night
#interacting #family #group
Huge group/flock of baboons
something here, but what?
there is one creature left, middle, but can't see what
something in front but can't see what
think I see 3 zebras right, back
something in lower left corner - guessing lion by texture and color
