Looks like the back of a tompson's gazelle
spotted hyenas
and he was slowly being decapitated and it was filled with maggots! We removed the snare, cleaned it out and he recovered 100%
On the mara Hyena Project we had a male with a snare who seemed to be fine but then after a year it got infected so we darted him
